The Pedalsport club is promoting the Bradford round of the National Trophy Cyclo-Cross series to be held on Sunday 14 December 2014. This is a major national cycling event with competitors from around the country.
This involves a wide range of responsibilities and work and a group of club members have been dedicated to the project for several months now.
However, there are also a number of on-the-day roles that need to be filled by members of the club and volunteer co-ordinator Chris Stiff is looking for people for get in touch with him if they want to be involved – see below for details.
THE ROLES
Sigining-On: two teams of three people are required to man the signing on tent. There will be two shifts, one from 8.30 – 11.30, the other from 11.30 to 16.00. Duties include monitoring riders signing on for races and collecting numbers etc post race.
Saturday Set-Up: The course will be assembled on the morning of Saturday 14th December and we’re looking for help with the extensive tape and stake work around the venue. It will be an early start with help needed between 7am and 2pm.
Take-Down Crew: After the event the course needs to be disassembled. Starting at approximately 4pm on the Sunday, a team of volunteers is needed to remove all the course marking and other event equipment. The work is expected to last for a couple of hours.
So, there’s lots to be done – if you can help with any of the above, please send Chris Stiff an email on chrisstiff98@googlemail.com
