Thursday 14th November saw the first Pedalsport Cycling Club roller 10 mile time trial and a great turnout of 12 competitors and several non-racers who were practicing ahead of the next event!
The results are now out – note the youth results reference the year of birth/age category which dictates the the gearing that they were using. Ask at a roller session if you want more details of this.

We will be repeating these time trials at regular intervals. The British Cycling Talent Team use a similar test, so for younger club members it’s a useful way of familiarising yourself with a test you may have to do in the future.
For all other riders, it’s an excellent way to monitor your fitness. We’ll also look at starting a league, so that a competitive element can be introduced.
If you have never ridden the rollers, you are welcome to come down any Thursday and give them a try – you should be up and running on them after a couple of sessions! The venue is the small studio at the rear of the main Brooksbank School building – off Linden road. Enter the rear/side gate of the school, park in the car park and continue round the back of the building to the studio.
Check out this video of our usual roller sessions.
