Volunteers: Cyclo-Cross National Trophy, Bradford 15th Dec

On the 15th December Pedalsport Cycling Club will be hosting the Yorkshire round of the National Trophy in Peel Park Bradford.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with the running of the event.

Friday/Saturday before we will need as many people as possible to help with taking equipment to the Park and setting up the course ready for the event on the Sunday we will also be looking for a few volunteers to stay in the park on the Saturday night to make sure that the course remains in place .

Sunday there will be some very specific jobs which any commitment to assist would be great.
– Pedalsport Gazebo for information and selling raffle tickets (2 people at all times)
– Car Park Stewards (6 People until start of the senior race)
– Signing on Stewards (4 people until start of senior race)
– Marshalls for the races (as many as possible guaranteed entries to the 3 peaks has been offered to all Marshalls so we are hoping that extra help will be given from some of the Yorkshire riders wanting there spot in the 3 peaks

Then finally as many people as possible to clear the park and take in the course after the event

Please let Fred Rothwell (01422 832195) or Mark Rushby (01422 361460) know asap if you would be able to assist. The more names we can get the easier it will be on the day for everyone. This is the first time our club has had the responsibility of a National event and it would be great if it was seen as a success.

There is an organisers meeting planned for all on Wednesday 9th October at Brooksbank School for anyone who is interested in getting involved in the event
